- Create Your Personal Profile. When you sign up, you can enter detailed information for literary agents and publishers, such as your educational background, your professional background, your previously published credits, your literary agent's information (if you currently have one), and more.
- Create Your Manuscript Proposal(s). Creating a new manuscript proposal allows you to define the categories your work is in, its title, the completion date, similar books or competition, potential endorsements, table of contents, and a writing sample. You can either cut-and-paste your contents directly into our database, or upload your files from your computer.
- Edit Your Manuscript Preferences and/or Proposal(s). All of the information you enter into our system is completely editable in real-time format. This means that as soon as you make the changes, it is reflected on all of the pages where your work or your personal information appears.
- Get Tips on Writing and Creating Manuscript Proposals. We have posted useful how-to information to help you write for the specific audience you are trying to reach. Get guides on how to craft the perfect proposal, how to attract literary agents, what publishers are looking for, links to writers' communities, and more.
- Track Your Manuscript's Progress. See how many agents and publishers have viewed your work and "Saved" your proposal to their clipboard.
- Inclusion in Our Monthly E-Letter Services. Each month we highlight promising proposals and send them to professionals in the publishing field. We do not send this E-Letter to anyone other than editors, agents and publishers, and you cannot pay to be included in our newsletter. The only way to be included is to have a great proposal and a unique idea.
