Writers' Groups & Workshops For a limited time, we are offering free six-month memberships to writers associated with selected Writers' Groups. This website is a new service that networks writers with royalty-based publishers. We have invited every reputable publisher and literary agent in North America to access our manuscript database in order to find quality submissions in categories that interest them -- and to date, we have provided over 1200 usernames and passwords to these companies. This is why we are interested in joining with your writers' community. In order to give our publishers a large selection of quality materials from which to choose, we are offering a free 6 month membership to those writers currently involved with selected writers' groups across the country. If you feel like the members in your writers' community would enjoy a free membership with our site, please feel free to enroll your community so they may receive this discount. After your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive a discount code to provide to your authors. Strict privacy and security is fully maintained at our site, and only legitimate publishers and literary agents are allowed access to writers' material. We have been working on fine-tuning our service for more than a year. We have consulted writers, editors, publishers, and literary agents in order to build a sleek system that benefits all who work in the writing process. We give discounts to those writers who are in writers' groups or workshops. When you sign up as a member referral service (it's free), we will include your Writers' Group (and/or Workshop) in our Suggested Workshops and Writers' Groups List, and your members will receive a discount for signing up with our service. This is not a vanity program, nor do we have any ties with literary agents or publishers other than sending them our periodic highlights of promising manuscripts. We aim to become the highest quality source where agents and publishers can discover talented new writers without leafing through mounds and pounds of paper. We want to reduce the slush pile and give acquisition editors new tools in order to discover new talent. Of course, we know that the "big six" publishing houses, as well as many other publishers, will still rely primarily on literary agents.
