More About What We Do
We do charge a modest posting fee to the author. In reality, it is less than if you send your manuscript to publishers using the old-fashioned "snail mail" method.
As a professional writer (or an unpublished one pining for publication), you must purchase materials and services to get your work in front of editors, agents and publishers (ideally in that order). If you have a 250-page manuscript and you want to mail it to ten agents or publishers, your costs will approach $100 for the paper and postage alone.

Our goal is to give authors a new way to catch an agent or publisher's attention. Here's how we do it:
- We Provide This Service. Instead of guessing which agents or publishers might want to view your manuscript and mailing out dozens of queries at your expense, agents and publishers can perform a search for quality work on our site. You can put your manuscript under as many as three categories and use up to five keywords to attract agents/publishers when they come in to search our database. - We Choose Promising New Work and Premium Postings to Include in Our Online E-Letter Services. Our monthly E-Letter is sent to hundreds of professionals in the publishing world and highlights the best and most unique of the proposals we receive. An agent or publisher can browse our newsletter for a fast and reliable way to find new talent. Premium postings are also given to selected promising manuscripts. - We Carefully Monitor Who Has Access. Other authors cannot view your material -- only Agents and Publishers that we have pre-screened have access to your work. You can edit your proposal as often as you like and you can see how many times your proposal has been viewed.
- We Give Agents and Publishers Valuable Searching & Tracking Tools. Agents and Publishers can browse through various categories to find work that fit their company's focus. They can search the latest postings, find recommended authors through our editors, save selected proposals or pass them on to other editors in their company, and invite authors to send them full manuscripts based on their proposals. We don't abandon our authors after they post their proposal -- we work hard to get your work in front of the right set of eyeballs. And that's really what a networking service should be!

We work with hundreds of professional editors around the country who will give you honest feedback about your work. This is an additional fee paid directly to the editor. We do not receive commissions, fees, or kickbacks from these moonlighting editors.
